This last weekend we visited a park about 45 minutes outside of Miami in a rural part of southern Florida. The Fruit & Spice Park is the only tropical botanical garden of its kind in the United States. The unique 35-acre public facility is owned and operated by the Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation Department. The Park's tropical climate can be found nowhere else in the continental U.S. and hosts over 500 varieties of fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, and nuts, and other commercially important plant specimens from around the world. The Park showcases 125 varieties of mango, 75 varieties of bananas, 70 bamboo varieties, and numerous other exotic edibles. I plagiarized this paragraph from their website in case their are people that check for this stuff on blogger, yes I plagiarized.
Curtis and daddy goofing around. Curtis loves riding on Tony's shoulders, his new thing is licking Tony's ear and face as you can see on the left.
They had beautiful ponds around the park. The pond served as a perfect backdrop for a reflection picture of Curtis and Tony.
Curtis just going with the flow of traffic
Grabbing a bite to eat before heading home
